Protected payment credentials
The Paystack secret key is held as a protected production value. Browser code receives only the secure checkout destination and never the secret key.
No-card trial conversion
Run the 14-day trial inside NextRand. Near expiry, ask the user to select a plan and complete Paystack checkout. A no-card trial cannot be charged automatically without payment authorisation.
Verify before granting access
After checkout, verify the transaction from the server and confirm the expected amount, currency, customer and reference before activating paid features.
Secure webhook processing
Receive subscription and payment events through a public endpoint, validate the x-paystack-signature using HMAC SHA-512 and make event handling idempotent.
Subscriptions and customer care
Track active, past-due, cancelled and expiring-card states. Provide clear renewal, cancellation and support information and preserve user data when access changes.
Subscription billing is active. Users can choose Plus or Family on monthly or annual billing and continue through secure Paystack checkout.
